Business process automation · Sydney

Stop chasing the work that should move on its own.

Enquiry replies. Follow-ups. Job handovers. Chasing invoices. The weekly numbers. We set that work up to happen on its own, inside the software you already use, and we run the marketing that feeds it. Your people still make every decision.

For suitable Sydney service businesses, the on-site review is $0 with no obligation. Owner-led, typically 10 to 50 staff. We reply within one business day.

New enquiry
Right now

Somewhere in your business, work is waiting on a person.

An enquiry waiting on a reply. A job waiting on a handover. An invoice nobody remembered to send. Nothing is broken. It is just that the next step lives in someone’s head.

What we do

We build the automation into that exact spot.

We follow the work through your business, find where it jams, and build a custom automation that fits that spot precisely. Not a product off the shelf. A system shaped around how your business already runs.

What changes

The routine runs itself. The judgement stays human.

  • First replies go out in minutes, and nobody had to remember.
  • Handovers carry their own context, so nothing is re-typed or lost between people.
  • Chasing and reporting happen quietly in the background, every time.
  • Decisions, exceptions and conversations stay with your people. We automate repeated work, not judgement.

One repeated problem. Fifteen minutes.

No obligation, and a practical next step either way.

How it works

A service, not software in a box.

No generic package and nothing rebuilt that does not need to be. We prove one improvement, then expand only when the evidence supports it.

01 · Short workflow callOne repeated problem, fifteen minutes on the phone.
02 · On-site reviewWe follow the real work through your people and systems. You get a plain-English view of the workflow, the bottleneck, and one prioritised improvement.
03 · One controlled improvementWe build it, you watch it run for a fortnight, and we only add more once it has earned it.
Your existing stack

Built inside the software you already pay for.

We do not sell a platform and we do not ask you to move onto one. In most Sydney service businesses the stack is already some combination of an email and file platform, an accounting system, a CRM, and a job, project or field management system. Each one does its own part well. The manual work lives in the gaps between them.

Our job is to make those systems talk to each other properly. Where two of them have a native integration, we configure it correctly and test the edge cases. Where they do not, we connect them with an automation layer, and we document exactly what runs, when it runs and what happens when it fails.

If a system genuinely cannot do what you need, we will tell you that plainly rather than building something fragile on top of it. Replacing software is a last resort, not a starting point, and it is worth knowing how to tell whether a process is ready to automate before anyone touches a licence.

Where it jams

Common places the work jams, by industry.

Trade and field service: a job is booked in one system, the invoice lives in another, and someone re-types it. Building and construction: a scope change is agreed on site and never reaches the price before the work starts. Strata and property: an approval request goes into an email chain and the manager rebuilds its status from scratch a week later. Accounting and professional services: out-of-scope work is delivered against an engagement letter that was never updated. Recruitment and logistics: the same candidate or consignment detail is entered three times in three places.

None of these are software problems. They are handover problems, and they are the kind of thing an on-site review finds in an afternoon. The same is true one step earlier, with the enquiries that go cold before anyone replies.

    Straight answers about automation.

Do we need to replace our existing software?

No. We build around the systems you already use. Replacing software is a last resort, not a starting point.

    Is this about replacing staff?

No. We automate repeated work, not judgement. Your team keeps the decisions, relationships and accountability.

What can Run Lighter actually help with?

Repeated digital work across leads, onboarding, administration, reporting and marketing implementation. The first step is identifying where a better workflow would make a practical difference.

    What does it cost?

The first call and the on-site review cost you nothing. If we find something worth building, you get the price for it before any work starts, and nothing is built until you say yes.

    What happens after I book?

A fifteen-minute call about one repeated problem. If it is worth fixing, we arrange an on-site review. You leave with a practical next step either way.
