Useful, first.
The object should give someone a reason to use it, learn with it and make it part of daily life.
The story of Si Torna
A familiar feeling.
Something we can bring into the way we live.

Where it begins
Italian heritage.
Everyday human connection.
There is a particular pleasure in doing something with our hands. Pressing dough. Tending soil. Cooking over a fire. Putting food on a table and asking someone to stay.
We can live very different lives from the people who came before us and still recognise something in these gestures. A sense of participation. A feeling of belonging.
Italian heritage is the starting point for Si Torna. Florence, the land around it, and the everyday customs of making and gathering give shape to the idea. We are interested in the feeling those customs carry, and how it can belong in a home today.
We return to what is already within us.
For us, heritage is an invitation to take part. It can be as simple as learning to roll a piece of pasta, carrying a board of food to the table, or making time for a cup and a conversation.
The home does not need to be large. The occasion does not need to be special. We are thinking about practical objects that make these small moments easier to begin and more enjoyable to share.
Our name is a small Italian invitation. We return to familiar gestures, useful things and time with one another. The words carry our purpose: a little closer to where we come from.
We are developing our first collection around three rituals: making, sharing and pausing. Fatto, Tavola and Pausa are early design studies, with the finished products still to come.

The object should give someone a reason to use it, learn with it and make it part of daily life.
We think about modern homes, limited space and the everyday moments between special occasions.
Italian inspiration opens the door. The pleasure of making and sharing belongs to everyone.
Distinct identities. A shared foundation.
Run Lighter owns Si Torna and manages the systems behind it. Asado Works is our sister brand, with its own product direction.
